Event Description

Workshop Schedule October 23 : Introduction to Electricity Learn about breadboards, wires, DC current, LEDs, resistors, and capacitors. Build simple circuits and understand how electronic components work together. October 24 : ESP32 and LED Programming Use the Thonny editor and USB port to program an ESP32 microcontroller. Build a breadboard circuit and light an LED manually and with a Python program. November 6–7 : GPIO, Blinking, Bread, and SoS Learn how to use ESP32 GPIO pins, create a blinking LED project, and explore the Bread (PWM) and SoS activities. November 13–14 : Introduction to Sensors Use a DHT11 sensor to measure real-world temperature and humidity. Read sensor data and display the values live using the ESP32. Participants Will Learn To - Build basic circuits on a breadboard - Identify and use common electronic components - Program an ESP32 using Python - Control LEDs through GPIO (General-Purpose Input/Output) pins - Read temperature and humidity data from a sensor - Display live data from the physical environment
